Corporate Social Responsibility

Indian Center for Development and Rights welcomes businesses and organizations concerned about society and are looking to contribute. Such activity on their part is generally referred to as corporate social responsibility (CSR). CSR shows continuing commitment of a business to work ethically by contributing to the economic development as well as maintaining the quality of their business by creating a long-term value for policyholders and stakeholders. CSR may improve the quality of life of the workforce and their families, in addition, the local community and society at large.

CSR with ICFDR can involve various activities such as adopting villages for holistic development; providing medical and sanitation facilities in rural areas with minimal or limited resources, building schools and houses in rural developments, and helping villages become self-reliant by teaching them vocational and business skills. A successful business understands that business goes hand in hand with a sense of responsibility towards all stakeholders including employees, environment and the society.
