With your help we, Indian Centre for Development and Rights -iCFDR, expect to install oxygen concentrators and other equipment’s as required, mostly in Delhi, as the city is most severely hit, accordingly request you to initiate donation or grants, alternatively you can also send us machines, equipment’s or these devices, we would ensure they are installed at the place which will the people affected most in India.
We are finalizing locations and spots, also discussing with local volunteers, government sets ups and organisations to have good distribution and reach. As, India is facing crisis like none other, with rising death tolls on daily bases. Hospitals are running out of oxygen and people are dying, outside of hospitals, on the streets and inside the hospitals due to lack of oxygen. People are suffering in their homes, lack of medical supplies and medical care means they will die unnecessarily. In this hour of need, iCFDR is trying to provide through its verified network oxygen concentrators and equipment’s.
In the first phase, we already placed an order for 5 concentrators in Gurgaon, and this effort will grow soon with local civil defense team and supporters in Gurgaon. One concentrator is available for around 120,000 to 65,000 INR for a single 5 or 8 LPM unit, good oximeters ranges from 1200 to 2400 INR and pack of 10 N95 mask at around 1000 INR (overpriced as other materials), hospital bed ranges from INR 6000 to 13000, ventilators are price around 5,00,000 to 10,00,000, BIPAPA MACHINE around 2,50,000 to 3,50,000 INR etc. We are expecting to get better costs in future, and install as many as we can. We have also recently been confirmed 10 machines from USA for two hospitals for marginalised one in Delhi and other one in Jalandhar. In case you can send us equipment directly, please write to us, we would be happy to get them to right locations.
In addition we have started a fundraiser at https://www.ketto.org/fundraiser/help-delhi-fight-back-covid-help-india-breathe , please donate and share. After the first phase we are planning to support government hospitals in third tire cites like Bareilly, Badaun etc., and have finalised some locations like government PHCs (public health centres) in need of equipments to face the crisis.
The aim is to raise 3-5 units with one unit of volunteers or with community amongst different locations in Delhi or place 5 units of concentrator with a hospital in need. The more we can raise the funds, the more we will be able to distribute. Once we get delivery, we will install and we will share the updates. Together we can and will save lives. Please support us by donating and sharing.
We also want to thank you for the amazing support for covid relief last year, in the first wave of COVID19. We have been able to help families, migrants and low income groups across India. Through our associates and friends we implemented the ration distribution and mask drive at some places in Delhi, Mumbai, Bareilly, Dehradun, Badaun, Itanagar, Pune, Jaipur, Rampur, Guwahati, Gurgaon, Chennai etc . Our work is possible because of the constant support and contribution from you. Please help us in this endeavor for citizens in need in Delhi.
