Indian Centre for Development and Rights is a non-profit operational and campaign humanitarian organization focusing on long term projects and awareness in the areas of – Education, Health, Empowerment and Environment. iCFDR advocates and works for eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, promoting universal primary education, human rights, gender equality and empowerment, improving maternal health and reducing child mortality rates and other diseases, ensuring environmental sustainability and fostering a global alliance for development.
iCFDR believes that quality education, healthy living, legal awareness and environment protection is a must for the sustainable development of any society. The NGO wants to promote sustainable development causes, youth empowerment, fight corruption, and promote peace and tolerance. For the same, we aim to assist various stakeholders of the society and other social organizations (NGOs) in India.
Our scope of social-work contains: long running projects and short term campaigns & events. In order to have maximum developmental effect, we have decided to operate by creating a permanent hub like our sponsored school in rural area. It aims to provide better education to rural children and gradually in and around the hub, encourage health awareness, gender equality, environmental awareness and legal rights which are major concerns for development of the society in India. Simultaneously, we also plan to conduct campaigns, events and camps across locations in and outside India, covering various social issues.
We at iCFDR plan to bridge the developmental and social gap within metropolitan cities and the rural-urban divide. We firmly believe that it is essential to improve quality of life at basic and unit level that’s rural villages and urban pockets lacking facilities and amenities. iCFDR provides its supporters an open space to contribute in their areas of strengths and interest. We encourage participation; supporters can design, add and also take ownership.
We are a professionally run “not-for-profit” social organisation, ensuring maximum and optimum utilization of resources and believe that each one of us can give back to the society.
I care for development and rights…
iCFDR: Core Values
- Grassroots effort
- Universal Oneness
We at iCDFR are striving to achieve a happy and healthy world, where people live in harmony with each other and sustainable environment for generations to come. We believe it is possible to make a world which knows no suffering and knowledge permeates through all levels. We draw our inspiration and spirit from an ancient Indian chant: सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः। सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः। सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु। मा कश्चित् दुःख भाग्भवेत्॥
